Abstract

The objective of this document was to reflect on what was done in virtual classrooms during the confinement period from March 2020 to the end of 2021 and to make a prospective view of university education in the face of the challenges of this century. This reflection was the product of an exercise carried out with more than 350 students from a public university in Mexico, with the perspective of the students, through the thematic analysis methodology, it was possible to approximate the expectations of the students towards the professors and, it was analyzed if these expectations were in line with the guidelines of international organizations. Thus, propensities is found about what is expected and not expected from teachers, linked to teaching attitudes, academic situations and topics of justice.
