The objective was to identify the level of academic stress during the Covid-19 pandemic in Business Management Engineering students in the state of Hidalgo in order to make a comparative study. By means of an empirical, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental and explanatory study, the survey was used as a method of data collection, adapting the SISCO SV Academic Stress Inventory questionnaire adapted to the context of Covid-19, which was applied to a sample of 344 Business Management Engineering students from Hidalgo, Mexico. The results indicate that in both institutions more than 71% of the student body presented a high level of academic stress, also, it is identified that the greatest stressor is the overload of tasks and work, as well as the performance of written evaluations, practices, application work, projects, while the stress symptoms manifested by the students are anxiety, anguish, despair and sleep disorder. As for coping strategies, to a greater extent they deal with academic stress by concentrating on resolving the situation that worries them. Finally, by means of the Mann-Whitney U non-parametric test for independent samples, the hypothesis establishing the existence of differences in the levels of academic stress of both study groups was tested; this difference is not significant.
2024-01-06T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://mail.ride.org.mx/index.php/RIDE/article/view/1757 Competencies of the axis of Conservation and Protection of the Environment of the Zootechnical Veterinary Doctor 2024-01-09T15:40:29-06:00 Daniel Rodríguez Tenorio rtenorio00@hotmail.com Regina Compeán González compean_77@hotmail.com
The purpose of the present study was to define the professional competencies and subjects of the conservation and environmental protection axis of the new educational model of the Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics career of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, which establishes that the teacher and the student know the competencies by axes in order to make their educational processes more efficient from a global perspective. The arguments for and against state intervention in the economy are reviewed and the importance of State participation in the allocation of the public budget is analyzed, emphasizing its impact on economic growth and the reduction of inequalities.

The study focuses on evaluating how public spending affects the country's economic growth, using the current six-year term as an example. It is shown that the proper use of the public budget is crucial for the growth of the Mexican economy, through actions such as the creation of infrastructure, the protection of labor rights, the promotion of strategic sectors and the promotion of equal opportunities.

Regarding the current government, the results reveal that, although actions have been undertaken to generate economic and social development through better use of public resources, the opacity in the management of resources in several projects makes it difficult to obtain good results, which raises questions about the efficient use of resources in the country. In this sense, it is crucial to have instruments that guarantee transparency, accountability and economic stability, preventing corruption. Government restrictions mandated the closure of cemeteries, thereby fracturing the spaces and activities traditionally associated with both men and women in funeral rituals. Against this backdrop, the objective of this research was to analyze how men redefined their practices in funeral ceremonies during the COVID-19 health emergency in a community in the State of Mexico. The method employed was qualitative; it involved ethnographic research within the community, alongside in-depth interviews with men who have been responsible for conducting activities at funerals in the town for several years, while conforming to their roles within what Connell refers to as the gender order (Connell, 1987). The primary findings indicate that men redefined their practices to meet the expectations of being a good man, husband, and father, responsible for protecting their families. Additionally, it is evident that funeral rituals encountered resistance, as men sought to reestablish them to conform to the previously established structure and order.
2024-01-26T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://mail.ride.org.mx/index.php/RIDE/article/view/1779 Six Sigma Work Team Effectiveness Factors: Questionnaire Validated by Expert Judgment 2024-01-26T11:44:09-06:00 Mariela Álvarez Argüelles mariela.alvarez@uacj.mx Eduardo Rafael Poblano-Ojinaga eduardo.po@cdjuarez.tecnm.mx Salvador Anacleto Noriega Morales snoriega@uacj.mx Manuel Arnoldo Rodríguez Medina manuel_rodriguez_itcj@yahoo.com
This research presents the validation of a Questionnaire-type Measurement Instrument (MI) through expert judgment, the IM was designed from the identification of criteria or factors through a Systematic Literature Review, determining 54 factors, same as they were discriminated with the application of Meta-Analysis, reducing to 29 factors, applied in the items. Teachers can prevent or aggravate this phenomenon in the classroom and school context. The objective of this study is to analyze the coping strategies developed by teachers to prevent school violence between peers in Elementary-level schools located in vulnerable areas. This investigation is qualitative, and Merriam (2009) basic interpretative method was used to substantiate it. Fifteen teachers participated, recognized by directors and students for effectively standing up to violence between peers belonging to 8 public primary schools. For data collection, semi-structured interviews were used. The results were formed out of the following categories: a) preventive coping strategies; and b) reactive coping strategies. It was concluded that teachers develop preventive strategies, which allow them to reduce cases of school violence between peers and train the student in an integral way. However, when unexpected serious conflicts occur, the teacher uses reactive strategies to stop violent acts at that moment. From the teachers' perspective, both strategies are effective in dealing with the problem, especially in vulnerable contexts, since students are exposed to learning from a continuous stream of violent behaviors both on the street and at home, which are then replicated in the classroom.
2024-01-29T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://mail.ride.org.mx/index.php/RIDE/article/view/1786 Perception of gender violence in the students of higher education institutions. This is due to the fact that the social relationships already established are replicated and are a replica of a social network that goes beyond the academic space. By addressing the Gender Perspective (GP), it is possible to contribute to promoting a reflection on the desired behavioral patterns for coexistence in groups. GP is understood as a strategy that results from socialization processes that seek equity and equality as shared values.

The objective of this article is to provide a descriptive analysis of the perception of gender-based violence as an act of discrimination among students of the Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex). This is due to the fact that at the beginning of the school cycles, there were situations of lack of capacity to serve the students on time, having to improvise in the adequacy of the facilities and teaching staff. Different methods of quantitative forecasts were reviewed that, according to the historical behavior of the data, the one that most closely adheres to mentioned behavior was used. Data from 15 school periods available since its inauguration were collected. Data treatment begins with normality tests in order to establish the statistic that was used. Once the appropriate forecast model was used, it was validated with 5 periods to check if the calculated forecasts adhered to the real data that was presented from period 16 to 20, likewise, the statistical hypothesis tests were carried out for validation of the models used. Tests were performed with different level and trend smoothing factors, using the one that showed the lowest error per period, which ranged from 0.21% to 8.88%. The present study incorporates the implementation of Project Based Learning (PBL) as a methodology to approach the applications of the derivative in applied problems. The course contents were analyzed through practices where students modeled and designed prototypes to solve a problem. To measure the impact of the instructional design, a quantitative methodology was applied to compare the performance of the students of a control group, which had a passive methodology giving priority to the operative load, while the experimental group maintained the active approach through the ABPr. The results obtained showed a better performance in the transition of languages, as well as in the process of solving each of the problems of the experimental group, obtaining higher values in each indicator analyzed. It will not be possible to advance in the implementation of a hybrid educational model if basic problems and needs are not solved first, as is the case in Mexico, where 32.6% of basic schools are located in rural communities, in the state of Guerrero only 47.1% of households have internet service. Several researches have highlighted the importance of the hybrid modality to improve the quality of learning and enhance student autonomy, but they have also recognized that digital illiteracy and the passive role of the student have led to discourage the use of technology. Given this, it is necessary for the mathematics teacher to carry out interventions that can help correct these deficiencies in young people, thus being able to contribute to raising the mastery of mathematical knowledge at this educational level. The objective of this research is to describe the forms of intervention of the mathematics teacher of the Colegio de Bachilleres del Estado de Sinaloa (COBAES) in the face of students' learning difficulties, particularly in the northern area. The qualitative and descriptive research method, therefore, diary records, observation and structured interviews were carried out with the mathematics teachers, having ethnography as an analytical reference. The results indicate that the intervention of mathematics teachers is scarce, without a defined plan that can help students improve their performance in the subject, coupled with the great deficiency of prior knowledge that the students present. Therefore, the teacher must do double duty, teaching basic arithmetic knowledge and continuing with the study program. According to this research, the resource most used by teachers is to rely on peer tutors and in this way help students who are lagging in mathematics.
2024-03-18T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://mail.ride.org.mx/index.php/RIDE/article/view/1840 Dynamics of coexistence and leisure adopted by university students in the post-pandemic context 2024-03-19T11:50:33-05:00 Kassandra Johanna García Hernández kass.hdez94@gmail.com Guadalupe Palmeros y Ávila guadalupe.palmeros@ujat.mx Irma Alejandra Coeto Calcaneo irma.coeto@ujat.mx
The present study focuses on analyzing the coexistence and leisure dynamics proposed by university students in the post-pandemic context. The main objective is to identify the strategies and activities that students have implemented to maintain healthy and safe coexistence, adaptation, and permanence. To achieve this, a quantitative investigation was conducted through the administration of two Likert-scale questionnaires. The results indicate that students have implemented various strategies to maintain healthy and safe coexistence, revolving around the organization of outdoor activities, the implementation of hygiene and social distancing measures, and the promotion of communication and dialogue among themselves. Furthermore, it was found that there is currently a shift in the willingness to modify learned social practices as well as regarding the safety of gatherings in public spaces. However, there is a division of opinions among university students who do not agree with social distancing. These results can be of great utility for university authorities as they provide valuable information on the coexistence and leisure dynamics adopted by university students.
2024-03-18T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://mail.ride.org.mx/index.php/RIDE/article/view/1841 Proposals for designing didactic strategies at digital environments based on Self-Determination Theory and Gamification 2024-03-19T11:50:25-05:00 Mariana García de la Torre mariana.garcia@uaslp.mx Silvia Romero Contreras silvia.romero@uaslp.mx Guillermo Javier Castro Larragoitia gcastro@uaslp.mx Mariana Buendía-Oliva mariana.buendia@uaslp.mx
After the crisis triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of students migrated to digital educational environments. Beyond the health crisis, the dynamics promoted by communication devices and the job market have led to transformations in education. In a context of accelerated transformation and migration of educational practices to digital environments, the objective of this study was to propose elements for designing instructional strategies mediated in digital environments. This was achieved through the identification of trends regarding motivations and preferences of higher education students when investing their time in playing in digital environments, framed within the self-determination theory and its constructs: autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The research employed a mixed-methods approach with equal status, complemented by literature analysis. The research tool was an exploratory situational diagnosis conducted through a digital form. A data collection instrument was created, named Eddreg (Survey for the Digital Design of a Gamified Educational Resource), and used to survey university students. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics. Results suggest that certain qualities of games in digital environments meet psychological needs of students. The positive impact is more noticeable in the constructs of autonomy, competence, and self-esteem than in relatedness. Specifically, this article addresses various social, economic, environmental, technological and educational issues with the aim of ensuring, from its approach and cultural identity, the improvement in the quality of life of ethno-territories. For this purpose, qualitative and quantitative inquiry techniques were used with the purpose of finding out, through observations and documentary review, the representations of traditions that establish behaviors and meanings. In addition, a probabilistic sampling of suitable sources was used to avoid biases in the research. Specifically, a chronological analysis of the legal framework is presented, based on struggles or social demands, which has allowed the achievement of territorial autonomy and the recovery of their own and indigenous rights, as well as the environment and production. The results show how ethno-education offers opportunities for territorial development. In conclusion, the importance of planning and ethno-education being developed from the territories themselves with the purpose of preserving the environment and traditions, fundamental elements for coexistence, is highlighted. In summary, this article provides a new perspective as the contribution of ethno-education to the development of ethno-territorial areas has not been previously discussed, which makes it an authentic material that invites to reconsider the importance of preserving ethnic territories. In terms of limitations, it is worth mentioning that research on ethno-education and ethnic populations is often complex due to the scarcity of available data and topics. However, through our own fieldwork and the collaboration of authorized entities, we were able to achieve the proposed goals.
2024-04-15T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://mail.ride.org.mx/index.php/RIDE/article/view/1878 Psychometric properties of scale to assess university teaching practice in hybrid modality 2024-04-17T11:52:49-05:00 Martha Alejandrina Zavala Guirado martha.zavala@itson.edu.mx Isolina González Castro igonzalez@itson.edu.mx Claudia Selene Tapia Ruelas ctapia@itson.edu.mx Laura Violeta Cota Valenzuela lcota@itson.edu.mx María Fernanda Durón Ramos maria.duron@itson.edu.mx
Hybrid education also known as b-learning its conceived as a composite innovation, that combines the advantages of online learning with the benefits of traditional classroom. This type of education was promoted during Covid Pandemic in 2020, it was given the formative processes to achieve indicators overall student permanence during the sanitary emergency. Currently it’s emphasized the need for information of application and result experiences, as it being considered a modality that will continue to be in trend. This investigation proposes the need to assess the psychometric properties of a scale to evaluate university teaching practice in hybrid modality, due to not existing an adequate instrument for it. For the study, there were selected 395 university students in a non-probabilistic way who were taking subjects in hybrid modality. A 48-item questionnaire was applied organized in five dimensions that describe the functionality of this modality in university education. The findings of the study show a model of 3 factors to consider in teaching practice in hybrid environments, which are: manage teaching through communication, facilitate experiences centered on learning and planning towards autonomous learning. (National Plan for the Evaluation of Learning). The research question posed was the following: Identify what is the relationship between the level of learning of Reading Comprehension and Mathematics in third year students of the Technical Secondary School No. 71 of Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico? To provide an answer, the following statistical tests were carried out: 1) measure the strength of association between the variables Reading Comprehension (X) and Mathematics (Y), finding the following findings: Spearman's Rho test (rs=0.391) indicated by its direction is positive and due to its magnitude it is a low positive correlation, that is to say that while Reading Comprehension increases, mathematics also increases, although not in the same proportion, although said coefficient does not measure the cause-effect relationship, it does provide us with a clear idea of the behavior of both variables, 2) it was found that the average number of correct answers obtained in Reading Comprehension 22.16 is significantly higher than the average obtained in Mathematics 19.06, and 3) the linear equation of Y over the dependency relationship between both variables given by Y=6.472+0.568X, which tells us that when “X” (Reading Comprehension) is equal to 1 “Y” (Mathematics) is equal to 0.568, so that it is better understood for every 10 correct answers in Reading Comprehension there will be 5.68 correct answers in Mathematics.
2024-05-07T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://mail.ride.org.mx/index.php/RIDE/article/view/1900 Basic edilicio design: results of the 2nd cycle of formal tests 2024-05-08T11:54:14-05:00 Continente Elizalde Domínguez profe_6389@uaeh.edu.mx
This document presents the results of the second formal test of 3 technologies and 3 deb scales whose implementation occurred in phases A and B of a workshop II.
