Comparative analysis of the ranking of values in agricultural engineering for sustainable production and agricultural engineering in production
Abstract
This research was conducted in two settings: the Center for Agricultural Sciences of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo and the UAEM Zumpango University Center of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. Both institutions aim to train human resources in Agricultural Sciences. The general purpose was to conduct a comparative analysis of the value hierarchy of students in both programs. The study is descriptive, hermeneutic, and exploratory. The hierarchy of values can be defined as the process of organizing and prioritizing personal or collective values according to their importance and relevance. This involves establishing an order of preference among different values, determining which are most significant and which are least significant for an individual or group. This influences the decision-making, behavior, and actions of students in both programs. Conducting a value analysis will allow us to have ethical training, which will allow us to have a greater capacity to make ethical decisions in difficult times, based on effective and coherent ideas and thoughts, resulting in a disciplined, responsible, honest, respectful, and supportive person.
